The transfer market of the COVID era is complicated. It is one where not a lot of clubs are willing or able to sell, with many preferring the loan option. It has been a difficult market for Lazio; they are trying to complete many of their deals but are struggling to do so.
Departures? Bastos will be sold soon, Felipe Caicedo will leave when Vedat Muriqi arrives. Lazio have to thin out the squad; they have five players who play on the left flank (including Mohamed Fares who is about to be signed). They cannot have a squad of 30 players and will work on finding solutions for as many of the players as they can.
Signings? After Muriqi and Fares, a central defender will arrive; one who can alternate with Stefan Radu. Then, if there are other market opportunities, Lazio will be ready. One player who can make a difference is Rodrigo de Paul, even if he costs a lot…
