Hellas Verona President Maurizio Setti spoke about the club’s 20-year-old Albanian central defender, Marash Kumbulla, who has reportedly attracted interest from several top clubs in Italy and abroad.
Where will Marash Kumbulla go? We have had many offers for the youngster; all from top-tier clubs. We have always believed in the defender, even rejecting significant offers when he was playing in our Primavera. He has the mentality as someone who is playing in a top ten club.
It’s weird: Marash had a big money team interested in him in January. He is perhaps the strongest defender born in 2000 acorss all of Europe. Several clubs have expressed their desire to sign him, but for now, we will keep him.
