Lazio are working on a loan deal to sign Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira, but still have not reached an agreement regarding the figures, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the Biancocelesti offered the Red Devils a loan deal with a €15 million buy option attached for the 24-year-old Belgian midfielder, who made 40 appearances for the club last season across all competitions.
For now, Manchester United have not accepted the offer as they want a higher fee, with some reports suggesting requests of up to €27 million, as well as an obligation to buy. Talks are still ongoing and there is confidence on both sides that a deal can be reached.
Pereira has agreed to a move and is now working with his entourage to find an agreement regarding a possible contract. The player currently receives around €2.2 million per season, and is contracted to the Red Devils until 2023.
