On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, the Gazprom Arena hosts Zenit St. Petersburg vs Lazio in Matchday 3 of the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League.
The officiating team for Lazio’s upcoming Champions League clash against Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg has been announced, with Portuguese referee Artur Soares Dias overseeing the game.
The report details how the Biancocelesti will be travelling to Russia for Wednesday’s Champions League clash, their third game in the competition.
The game will be overseen by Portuguese referee Artur Dias, who has never officiated a Lazio game before.
However, the 41-year-old was in charge of Atalanta’s 4-0 win over Danish side Midtjylland last month, where he gave two yellow cards. He has also overseen games involving Serie A sides Roma, Napoli and Inter.
Last season, Dias was the referee in 39 games across all competitions, where he gave 195 yellow cards, nine second yellow cards, five red cards and 16 penalties.
His assistants will be Rui Tavares and Paulo Soares, with the fourth official being Antonio Emanuel Carvalho Nobre.
In the VAR room there will be Tiago Martins and Luis Godinho.
