Formello: Optional Training Session For Lazio Ahead of Juventus Clash

The majority of Lazio’s players trained today in the gym after yesterday’s Champions League clash against Zenit, with a few taking part in exercises on the pitch, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how goalkeepers Marco Alia and Alessio Furlanetto trained on the pitch, with first team players Stefan Radu, Senad Lulic and Nicolò Armini all doing different work with the ball. After this, striker Joaquin Correa and defender Luiz Felipe ran around the perimeter of the pitch.

Tomorrow will be an important day for the Biancocelesti, the report continues, with a new round of tests for the whole team, ahead of this weekend’s league clash against reigning champions Juventus.

Focus will be on stars Ciro Immobile, Thomas Strakosha and Lucas Leiva, who were all forced to miss the Zenit game due to a positive Covid-19 test, despite the fact that they faced Torino last weekend.

It will also be understood if Luis Alberto, Djavan Anderson and Manuel Lazzari will be fit enough to face the Turin based club.
