Lazio striker Felipe Caicedo’s 27 goals in his Biancocelesti career so far have secured 33 points for the Roman side, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the 32-year-old Ecuadorian forward signed for Lazio from Spanish side Espanyol in 2017. In his first season with the club, he scored six goals across all competitions, with goals in the Europa League earning three points and league goals securing four points for Simone Inzaghi’s side.
In his second season, his goal against Marseille in the Europa League earned Lazio two points, and his goals in the league against Frosinone, Empoli and Sampdoria secured seven points for the Biancocelesti, with the goals against Roma and Udinese earning two more.
Last season, Caicedo’s nine goals in the league gave Lazio ten points, with only one goal coming in a defeat, the loss against Lecce.
This campaign Caicedo has already scored three times, with his last-minute winner against Torino and late equaliser against Zenit earning the Roman club four more points.
