Lazio wing-back Adam Marusic has been called up by Faruk Hadžibegić to take part in Montenegro’s upcoming matches.

The European nation’s first match against Kazakhstan (International Friendly) is set to take place at the Stadion Pod Goricom on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 12:00 (EST); their second match against Azerbaijan (UEFA Nations League) is set to take place at the Stadion ŠRC Zaprešić on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 12:00 (EST); and their third and final match against Cyprus (UEFA Nations League) is set to take place at the Stadion Pod Goricom on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 14:45 (EST).

Since making his debut for Montenegro in March 2015 against Russia (in a 3-0 loss), Marusic has secured 34 other caps at the international level. Over this period, he has provided two assists and played a total of 2852 minutes. In addition, he has been called up for international duty but remained on the bench on three other occasions.

As it stands, Montenegro currently sits in second place in the UEFA Nations League C Group 1 with a record of 3W-0D-1L (9 points).
