Formello: Lazio to Undergo First Training Session After Juve Clash With Remaining Squad

Lazio’s remaining squad have returned to Formello after 48 hours rest, beginning work for their next game against Torino after the international break, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how coach Simone Inzaghi will not be working with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Adam Marusic, Joaquin Correa, Vedat Muriqi and Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, who are all with their respective national teams.

Italians Francesco Acerbi and Ciro Immobile are both currently in trusted isolation, waiting to know the outcomes of their Covid-19 tests, with negative tests allowing them to join the Italy squad.

Mohamed Fares and Luiz Felipe will both be staying in Rome and not joining their national teams, something to smile about for Inzaghi.

Yesterday the squad carried out normal Covid-19 tests, with the results due today. Training is then scheduled for 15:30, when the squad will be together in Formello.

Stefan Radu, whose contract expires at the end of this season, played 54 minutes against Juventus and will continue his recovery over the new couple of weeks, all signs looking positive.

For Senad Lulic, he is still taking small steps in his recovery, waiting for the green light to join the squad. These two weeks will be crucial for his return, with the light at the end of the tunnel seeming closer.
