Lazio May Look To Sign Sevilla’s Franco Vazquez In The January Transfer Window

Lazio are still interested in Sevilla midfielder Franco Vazquez and could make a move for him in January, according to a report from Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com earlier today.

The report details how the Biancocelesti have been linked with the Argentinian attacking midfielder for a number of years now, but may finally look to pull the trigger and sign the 31-year-old.

Vazquez was worth around €7 million last summer and his current market value is around €4.5 million, which could drop even further by the upcoming January transfer window.

The Roman side may finally decide to sign the 31-year-old Argentine, especially if they are still involved in the Champions League.

Vazquez, who is contracted to Sevilla until the end of the season, has made eight appearances so far this campaign across all competitions, for a total of 88 minutes.

He has failed to earn a single start so far, with his highest number of minutes on the pitch in a single game being 27.
