Lazio’s Cross Examined COVID-19 Test Results To Be Revealed In 5 Days

The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Avellino’s investigation into Futura Diagnostica, the laboratory that carries out Covid-19 tests for Lazio, continues and results are expected in the next five days, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the only suspect in the investigation currently is Massimiliano Taccone, president of the board of directors of the Italian laboratory. The accused crimes are forgery, culpability during an epidemic and fraud.

95 tests carried out by the Lazio squad for their league clash against Juventus have been cross-examined by Maria Landi, medical director of the microbiology and virology laboratory of the Moscati Hospital in Avellino, who has been given five days to compile and deposit the results.

In the meantime, Lazio medical director Dr. Ivo Pulcini will have his hearing with the Prosecutor today, with the head of the Biancocelesti’s medical staff Fabio Rodia also set to be interviewed, although neither are under investigation.
