Lazio captain Senad Lulic’s recovery is progressing well and nearing completion, joining the squad in their training sessions yesterday and today, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the squad underwent a morning training session today, after taking a round of Covid-19 tests. The afternoon will be free for the players.
Today’s training session at Formello consisted of a warm-up, followed by ball possession drills and then a match between the players. Those with their respective national teams, like Francesco Acerbi or Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, were obviously not present.
The three players who have been at the centre of the Covid-19 inconsistent testing situation, Ciro Immobile, Thomas Strakosha and Lucas Leiva, were also not present.
Luiz Felipe and Pepe Reina spent their second consecutive day training in the gym, with the team taking a slight precautionary measure to avoid fatigue.
Club captain Senad Lulic took part in the entire training session, including the final match, and will soon be included in the player registration list for the league, taking the place of Djavan Anderson.
