Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto expressed his unhappiness towards the Biancocelesti’s new personalised plane across social media earlier tonight, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the 28-year-old Spaniard, who is contracted to the Roman side until 2025, posted an Instagram story with discussing the plane, saying: “Very nice, but when do we take care of inside? Appearances…”, accompanied with a few angry emojis.
Luis Alberto then later commented on the personalised aircraft on a Twitch live stream, responding to a fan when he said: “Have I seen the plane? Yes, I saw that they buy things, but they don’t pay us.”
He then later added: “I saw the plane, they spend a lot of money, but for us there is nothing. Holy sh*t.”
The 28-year-old Spanish midfielder is clearly unhappy with the purchase, and is presumably referring to the squad’s salaries for the last few months, a period which has been dominated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Luis Alberto’s anger towards Lazio’s management seems sudden, considering that the former Sevilla player signed a contract renewal with the club at the end of September, months into the pandemic.
