Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto’s Agent Alessandro Favaro discussed the Biancocelesti midfielder and his other client Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz in an interview with Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato Web yesterday.
Luis and Fabián don’t need much comment, we are talking not only about two of the best midfielders in Serie A, but also in the world. Their qualities have already been amply demonstrated and they are both confirming them with their performance at the beginning of this season.
Luis is once again doing extraordinary things and Fabian is not only central in the dynamics of Napoli’s game, but also in those of the Spanish national team.
The 28-year-old Spaniard Luis Alberto, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2025, has made seven appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 565 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and been key for coach Simone Inzaghi.
The former Sevilla man was instrumental in helping Lazio qualify for the Champions League last season, forming strong partnerships with Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
That season, Luis Alberto made 41 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 3396 minutes. In that time, he scored seven goals and provided 17 assists, helping Immobile achieve the Capocannoniere award.
Lazio are currently 9th in Serie A after seven games, sitting three points behind rivals Roma. The Biancocelesti’s next game is against newly promoted Crotone after the international break.
