Lazio central defender Francesco Acerbi has enjoyed a terrific run of form over the past 12 months. As a result of these performances, the player is set to be rewarded with a starting place in Italy’s next match. The Azzurri take on Poland in Matchday 5 of the UEFA Nations League.

Although Acerbi did not play any role in that friendly, it is likely that his experience will be called upon for the more important game against Poland.
