Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi is one of three players in Serie A over 30 to play every minute in the league so far this season, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the 32-year-old Italian centre back, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2023, has appeared 10 times so far this season, playing 900 minutes across all competitions.
The former Sassuolo man has also played every possible minute in the Champions League, showing his incredible stamina and work rate.
The other two over 30 players in Serie A to play every available minute are Benevento’s Kamil Glik, and former Lazio man Martin Caceres, who is currently playing for Fiorentina, more of a shock considering his consistency issues.
Last season, Acerbi was one of the best defenders in Italy, scoring two goals, providing two assists and helping the Biancocelesti keep 12 clean sheets across all competitions.
