Lazio have joined the list of clubs interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig, according to a report from Portuguese scout and reporter Luis Pinto Coelho on Twitter earlier today.
The report details how Portuguese side Porto are seriously interested in acquiring the 21-year-old Spaniard, who is contracted to the Blaugrana until the end of the season. They already tried to sign him in the summer and are hoping to secure his signature in the upcoming January transfer window.
Lazio and Spanish side Sevilla are the other two clubs linked with a move for Puig, the report continues, and are following the player closely.
Last season, the 21-year-old Puig made 33 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 2392 minutes. In that time, he scored two goals and provided five assists, impressing for the Catalan side.
He has hardly featured for Barcelona this season, only playing three minutes against Getafe in a 1-0 loss last month.
