Lazio Open to Selling Luis Alberto With Ancelotti’s Everton Interested

Lazio are open to selling Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto, with Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton interested, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper il Tempo.

The report details how club president Claudio Lotito is tired of the 28-year-old Spaniard’s attitude problems, which again reared their head when he publicly ranted about the decision to purchase a personalized Boeing 737 last week.

Premier League side Everton are interested in acquiring Luis Alberto, the report continues, and are even considering a January move for the Lazio midfielder.

Lotito would be open to the deal for the right price, and a return to Sevilla next summer also cannot be excluded.

The 28-year-old Spaniard signed a new deal with the Biancocelesti back in September, tying him to the club until 2025, but now could already be on the path out.

Luis Alberto has made seven appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring one goal in that time.
