Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is close to achieving 300 points in Serie A whilst in charge of the Biancocelesti, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how 44-year-old Italian coach, who is contracted to the Roman side until the end of the season, has earnt 299 points from 165 games in charge so far.
These points have come from 89 wins and 32 draws, the report continues, and the upcoming game against newly promoted Crotone could be the match that pushes Inzaghi past the 300 point mark.
Inzaghi has been in charge of Lazio since 2016 and has overseen 300 matches across all competitions. In that time, he has guided the team to 172 wins, 50 draws and 78 losses, averaging around 1.89 points per game.
His tenure has also seen Lazio win a Coppa Italia, two Supercoppa Italiana and earn qualification for the Champions League for the first time in over a decade.
