Ex-Lazio Striker Rizzolo: “The Return of Immobile is Fundamental”

Former Lazio striker Antonio Rizzolo spoke ahead of Lazio’s next game against Crotone in Matchday 8 of the 2020/21 Serie A.

The medical examinations of Immobile, is is now eligible to play against Crotone, is excellent news.

We know how important he is for the team. Simone Inzaghi will once again be able to count on him; he is fundamental for his tactics.

His presence on the pitch also helps his teammates. Everyone is more mentally serene when he is around.

Speaking about Felipe Caicedo, Rizzolo complimented his abilities on the field.

Caicedo is the classic striker. He always gives everything for his team, starting from the first minute when he gets on to the pitch.

He then talked about new signing Vedat Muriqi, who has not been able to find his best form in Rome yet.

Muriqi must also play. Inzaghi pays a lot of attention to every single detail; he knows what it means to play for the national teams and then to come back after a long pause.

Finally, Rizzolo talked about Argentina international Joaquin Correa.

Inzaghi will certainly have to make an assessment regarding the possible use of Correa, as he has been playing a lot recently in the absence of Immobile.

Rizzolo played for Lazio between 1986 and 1989. He secured 50 appearances for the Biancocelesti and scored eight goals over this time.
