Lazio Captain Senad Lulic Could Feature Against Udinese Later This Month

Lazio captain Senad Lulic’s recovery draws closer, with a possible return for the match against Udinese later this month, according to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei earlier today.

The report details how the 34-year-old Bosnian midfielder, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until the end of the season, has been injured since the 5th February, after the match against Hellas Verona.

He returned to the training ground in Formello at the start of October and has continued his recovery well, but the club are taking maximum caution considering that he has just returned from two ankle operations.

Lulic has never given up and is now only a step away from returning to the Serie A player registration list, likely in place of Djavan Anderson.

The Bosnian’s next appearance is likely to come against Udinese on the 29th November, the report continues, but he could be included in the squad for this weekend’s match against Crotone.

A decision will be taken closer to the game, but he could be included in the squad similar to how Stefan Radu was in place of Denis Vavro for the Juventus game earlier this month.
