Premier League side Manchester United are actively following Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with Spanish giants Real Madrid also still interested, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Fichajes.net earlier today.

The report details how the 25-year-old Serbian midfielder, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2024, has attracted the attention of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, who see him as a strong replacement for French midfielder Paul Pogba.

Should the former Juventus midfielder be sold at the end of the season, then Manchester United would look to pull the trigger and attempt to sign the player.

Real Madrid are still interested in Milinkovic-Savic, the report continues, with Los Blancos considering the Serbian as someone who can fill Luka Modric’s shoes in the squad.

Lazio are not looking to sell the 25-year-old but would consider an offer over €100 million, with president Claudio Lotito making the Biancocelesti’s position clear.
