Lazio president Claudio Lotito will be attending an interview with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in Avellino, to discuss the work of Futura Diagnostica, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how Lotito will be asked questions relating to the Covid-19 test analysis carried out by Italian laboratory Futura Diagnostica, whose chairman of the Board of Directors Massimiliano Taccone is currently being investigated.
Lotito will not be accompanied by Lazio’s lawyers, the report continues, as the Italian businessman is not accused of anything, and is simply providing a more precise picture of the facts and details.
Futura Diagnostica is under investigation for inconsistent Covid-19 tests, with multiple Lazio players like star Ciro Immobile first testing negative at their lab before testing positive elsewhere.
The Biancocelesti have highlighted how, should the investigation show criminal activities, that they are also victims in the situation.
