Wesley Hoedt to Be Fined by Lazio for Recording Offensive Video of Team Plane

Discipline issues seem never-ending in the Lazio camp this year.

Last week, Luis Alberto made a rash comment about player salaries after Lazio’s personalized boeing 737-300 was unveiled.

Although the Spaniard apologized for his needless actions, he received a fine from the club as President Claudio Lotito and Sporting Director Igli Tare were not pleased by his comments.

Now, according to Il Messaggero, it is Wesley Hoedt who has landed in hot water.

The Biancocelesti are set to fine the Dutch defender due to an offensive video that the player is rumoured to have recorded of the club’s personalized airplane.

This took place before their flight to Calabria (to play Crotone) and occurred without authorization and in violation of the Fiumicino and Ciampino airport rules.

The atmosphere in the locker room is already rather tense following the situation with Luis Alberto. Team Manager Angelo Peruzzi has reportedly threatened to quit the club as a consequence of a clash of opinions with the Lazio President and Sporting Director (regarding how to deal with the midfielder).

This news about Hoedt only adds pressure to an already difficult situation…
