Lazio president Claudio Lotito will meet with club manager Angelo Peruzzi next week to try and repair their relationship, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the former Lazio goalkeeper had a falling out with the Biancocelesti’s president and sporting director Igli Tare over the Luis Alberto situation.
The Spanish midfielder had complained on social media about the purchase of the new personalised plane, infuriating Lotito and Tare, who wanted him to be both fined and bench for the league match against Crotone.
Peruzzi sided with Inzaghi and did not want to exclude Luis Alberto from the starting 11 for the Rossoblu game, the report continues, and the debated heated up enough for Peruzzi to leave Formello and temporarily return home.
He has not joined the squad since for either of their recent two games, but would be ready to return to his post.
The meeting between Lotito and Peruzzi is set to take place next week, most likely after the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.
