Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic tested normally with the squad today in Formello, after recovering from Covid-19, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the 25-year-old Serbian midfielder, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2024, was forced to miss two games after testing positive for the virus whilst on international duty with his native Serbia.
The player is now available for this weekend’s league clash against Udinese and is expected to start, the report continues.
Argentine midfielder Gonzalo Escalante trained fully with the squad and is also expected to feature against the Bianconeri, after missing the last seven games due to a muscle injury.
Club captain Senad Lulic was absent from training for the second day in a row, and his return may be postponed by a few weeks.
Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe trained individually, suffering some slight discomfort after the win over Zenit.
