Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi underwent medical exams at the Paideia Clinic in Rome earlier today, according to an official Tweet from the Biancocelesti.
The 26-year-old Kosovan forward, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2025, suffered a slight injury whilst playing against Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg in the Champions League earlier this week.
There is a fear that he’s pulled the muscle and could be out for at least two weeks. He has already missed three games this season due to an injury and Covid-19.
