Manchester United Loanee Pereira Could Start for Lazio Against Udinese

Andreas Pereira, who recently joined Lazio from Manchester United this past summer on loan, is looking likely to earn his second start for the club against Udinese this upcoming weekend.

In the only match in which he has started for the Biancocelesti thus far (against Torino), he scored in the 15′ and played the first half before being replaced. In addition to this, he has played in five other matches (three in Serie A and two in the UEFA Champions League), tallying a total of 159 minutes, but failing to really make an impact.

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the player will have another chance to show his worth tomorrow; Pereira is said to have been preparing for tomorrow’s match against Udinese knowing that he will likely be playing from the first minute.

Pereira seems committed to Lazio. A recent report from Radiosei revealed that the midfielder studied the history of the club before agreeing to move to Rome; this delighted fans and his new colleagues.

The Brazilian could be of help to Lazio off the pitch as well. Pereira has 2.4 million followers on social media, twice as much as Ciro Immobile, which could help promote the club in a positive light.
