On Sunday, November 29, 2020, Lazio took on Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico. In this match, the Biancocelesti wore a special kit that featured the wording AD10S underneath the Macron logo to commemorate the late Diego Armando Maradona.
The Serie A side has since partnered with online platform MatchWornShirt to put these shirts up for auction and raise funds for two charities; Don Pietro Ottena and Piccoli Passi, Grandi Sogni (Small Steps, Great Dreams). The auction opened at kick-off and will be run for a total of seven days until December 6, 2020.
Don Pietro Ottena has two major projects scheduled: a canteen for people in need, which for many years has been helping and supporting citizens in economic difficulty (and which feeds around 170 people every day) and the opening of a charity shop that accepts donations of used or new items (to then resell them and allocate the entire proceeds to the construction of an orphanage in Burundi).
Piccoli Passi, Grandi Sogni is inspired by educational principles that originate from the work and thought of Giovanni Bosco, a Turin priest in the mid-1800s, who spent his life helping poor young people. Following this path traced by Don Bosco, the charity offers a response to the new poverties of today, finding adequate help fo young people in difficulty. In particular, it is aimed at minors in a state of abandonment or family distress.
