Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi began preparations for the Biancocelesti’s upcoming Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund this week at the club’s training ground in Formello, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.
The report details how the only players to feature in training today were those who did not face Udinese yesterday, or those who played for a maximum of 45 minutes.
Brazilian defender Luis Felipe returned to squad training and will be available for the European clash against the Germans.
Should he complete training well tomorrow, he will be included in the match day squad on Wednesday.
The squad that worked with Inzaghi this morning were the following players: Nicolò Armini, Luiz Felipe, Wesley Hoedt, Adam Marusic, Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Marco Parolo, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Danilo Cataldi, Lucas Leiva, Gonzalo Escalante, Andreas Pereira, Mohamed Fares and Djavan Anderson.
Manuel Lazzari trained separately.
The squad will train in Formello again tomorrow morning before heading to Germany in preparation for Wednesday’s game.
