Lazio Women coach Ashraf Seleman discussed the difficulties of managing the team amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and their Coppa Italia drew with Inter in an interview with Italian broadcaster Lazio Style Channel earlier today, as reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi.
This week we have worked and talked a lot, unfortunately it is not easy to manage the stop to the season. The performance against Inter in the Coppa Italia proved our value.
Now we will have to face Ravenna, a difficult match because they’re a really strong team. We drew with Inter 3-3, we didn’t see the difference between us and them and this must be our starting point, making everyone understand that with work you can play great games.
In a year and a half these girls have only lost three games, all against Napoli.
Lazio Women are currently 7th in Serie B after six games played, sitting on 10 points.
