Lazio Club Manager Angelo Peruzzi and President Claudio Lotito have settled their differences and the former goalkeeper has returned to Formello, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the entire locker room asked for Peruzzi to return to his role, with his personality and experience being vital for the squad, who are big fans of the former Italy shot stopper.
Peruzzi was finally called by Lazio and that led to the conversation with Lotito, where their differences were settled and peace was made, the report continues.
Peruzzi and Lotito had clashed over the Luis Alberto case and what punishment the Spanish midfielder should be given.
The Lazio club manager thought that a heavy fine was satisfactory, pushing for him to be included in coach Simone Inzaghi’s squad for the game against Crotone, whilst Lotito and sporting director Igli Tare both thought he should remain on the bench.
