Lazio have officially announced that club spokesman Arturo Diaconale has passed away at the age of 75.
The Italian had been the Biancocelesti’s spokesman since 2016 and was well liked at the club.
In May he was hospitalized for a delicate procedure, before returning to work and highlighting his love for the Roman club.
Diaconale was also a member of the Board of Directors of Rai from August 4, 2015 until July 2018, and a respected journalist.
Lazio wrote in their statement:
S.S. Lazio, its President, the coach, the players and all the staff express deep condolences for the death of the club’s spokesman, Arturo Diaconale, and join the family’s grief.
