Before today’s training session in Formello, the Lazio squad will undergo another round of Covid-19 tests ahead of their weekend clash against Spezia, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the squad have immediately returned from Germany to Italy and will begin preparations for their league clash against the Ligurian side.
The right wing back in that game will be Manuel Lazzari, the report continues, with either Adam Marusic or Mohamed Fares starting on the left.
In defense Inzaghi hopes to deploy Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe, who has missed the last two games due to a slight ankle injury.
Stefan Radu will also feature against Spezia, and it’ll be a battle for a starting spot between Thomas Strakosha and Pepe Reina.
Felipe Caicedo has asked for some playing time and considering that Joaquin Correa has always started, he may give up his starting spot.
