Lazio’s Ciro Immobile Can Reach a Career Milestone Against Spezia Tomorrow

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile can reach another career milestone in this weekend’s league clash against newly promoted Spezia, according to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei earlier today, as reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi.

The report details how the 30-year-old Italian striker, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2025, has scored against 29 different teams in Serie A throughout his career.

If he scores against Spezia, that number will rise to 30. Only two players would be ahead of him in this regard, Sampdoria veteran Fabio Quagliarella and former Inter forward Rodrigo Palacio, who scored 32 and 31 respectively.

Immobile has made 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 789 minutes. In that time, he has scored nine goals and provided two assists.

The 30-year-old Italian forward suffered from a frustrating case of Covid-19 that forced him to miss two Champions League games and one league clash, but has quickly recovered and scored in every game since his return.
