Lazio Women Coach Seleman: “We Have to Go & Get 3 Points on Wednesday”

Lazio Women coach Ashraf Seleman discussed the Biancocelesti’s 1-1 draw with Orobica Bergamo in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Lazio Style Radio earlier today.

It took a lot more decisiveness, I’m very angry. We have to open up the game well, it’s good that we didn’t lose, we are unbeaten but we’re arriving in December and January, two months that we have to win and be concrete.

We have to go and get the three points on Wednesday to make things right. We have one day to prepare for the game but we are working hard and we have to analyse why there were so many mistakes yesterday, and how to make the most of our chances.

On Wednesday we face a strong team, it’s a direct match and we have to go on the pitch and win.

The Lazio Women coach then touched on how the Covid-19 pandemic has heavily affected the Serie B Women calendar this campaign.

The current situation doesn’t help, one week you play and then not, and then you play again. This week have prepared for three different games in three days. Unfortunately, we have a lot of games that must be played still and we have to be good at having the right decisiveness in them.

Lazio Women are currently eighth in Serie B after six games, sitting on 10 points. The Roman side are undefeated but have drawn four of their six matches this campaign.
