Lazio have joined the list of clubs interested in signing Fiorentina’s Patrick Cutrone on a loan deal in January, according to a report from Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today.
The report details how the 22-year-old Italian forward, who is currently on loan at the Viola from Premier League side Wolves, is likely to leave Florence in January, as Fiorentina are not looking to sign him permanently.
Fiorentina would be obligated to sign him for €16 million upon his 16th appearance of the season, so he is all but certain to leave in the upcoming winter transfer window. He is currently on 12 appearances across all competitions.
Cutrone’s future could still be in Italy, however, with Sampdoria, Parma, Bologna and Lazio all interested in him, the report continues.
It’s possible that he could join one of these clubs on a loan deal with a buy option attached for the end of the season.
The 22-year-old Cutrone has not scored for the Viola this campaign.
