After taking the lead in the 12th minute, but losing it just three minutes later, Lazio restored their lead through Ciro Immobile in the 27th minute.
The Italian striker not only drew the foul (being tripped by Clinton Mata) but he also converted from the spot with a right-footed strike into the bottom right corner. His penalty sent goalkeeper Simon Mignolet the opposite way and put Lazio up 2-1.
