Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has given the squad a day and a half rest to relax after yesterday’s successful qualification to the Champions League Round of 16, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how today’s morning training session in Formello was cancelled, with the next one scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, where preparations for this weekend’s league clash against Hellas Verona will begin.
A new round of Covid-19 tests will be taken at 2:30pm, before the squad enter the pitch for the first tactical session.
Spanish defender Patric may feature against the Gialloblu, depending on the signals he gives in the next couple of training sessions.
Kosovan forward Vedat Muriqi is also still out but has restarted individual training and could return in time for the clash against AC Milan at the San Siro, the last Lazio match of 2020.
