Lazio will face one of the Champions League group winners in their first knockout game of the competition in the new year.
A report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi has examined the possible opponents the Biancocelesti could face.
The report details how the following teams won their respective groups: Bayern Munich (Group A), Manchester City (C), Liverpool (D), Chelsea (E), Borussia Dortmund (F), Juventus (G).
Two other group winners still need to be confirmed, including Group B and Group H.
In Group H, RB Leipzig are currently top after being Manchester United yesterday, but Paris Saint-Germain can top the group with a win over Istanbul Basaksehir this evening.
The Biancocelesti cannot face Borussia Dortmund or Juventus in the next round as the Germans were played in the group stage and you cannot draw two teams from the same national federation.
The draw for the first knockout round will take place next week on Monday December 14th, at 12pm.
