Lazio will be taking on FC Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 later this season. The two sides have not had much history playing against each other as the Italian side has not been a regular in the Champions League competition. But one aspect that brings the two sides together is the fact that four notable talents have played for both clubs.
As Lazio Page notes, Miroslav Klose, Pepe Reina, Edson Braafheid, and Massimo Oddo have all played for both clubs.

The most well-known talent from this quadrant is Miroslav Klose. Many are well familiar with the German forward from his time with the German national team, but he did have a potent run with both Lazio and Bayern. Klose won the Bundesliga twice while with Bayern and helped Lazio to triumph in the 2012-2013 Coppa Italia tournament. He scored 50+ goals for both clubs in all competitions.
The other notable talent is of course Pepe Reina. The Spanish goalkeeper has had quite a unique career playing in four of Europe’s top five leagues. Reina only totaled for three appearances in all competitions during his one season run with Bayern and is currently playing his first season with the Italian side.
Many Lazio fans from the 2000s are well familiar with Massimo Oddo, who spent five seasons with the Italian side. On the other hand, Edson Braafheid spent a mere two seasons with both Lazio and Bayern.
