Fiorentina Ready To Make Offer For Lazio Striker Felipe Caicedo, Italian Media Report

Fiorentina are ready to present an offer to Lazio for Ecuadorian striker Felipe Caicedo, according to a report from Florence based newspaper La Nazione earlier today, as reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi.

The report details how the Florence based club are looking for a striker to solve their goal crisis, with the 32-year-old Ecuadorian attracting the attention of president Rocco Commisso.

The Viola are ready to make an offer for the player, but first must look to sell Italian striker Patrick Cutrone, the report continues.

Torino are interested in the former AC Milan forward and if they purchase him, then Fiorentina will immediately look to sign Caicedo.

Lazio do not want to sell Caicedo and would only accept an important offer for the player. In the summer they requested around €8-10 million and are unlikely to deviate from that figure in the January transfer window.

The 32-year-old Caicedo has made 14 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 505 minutes. In that time, he has scored five goals.
