Lazio recently came away undefeated against Borussia Dortmund in Champions League group stage play, so the club is well familiar with going up with German teams.

We are happy with the draw. It is never easy to play against Italian teams. It will obviously be a special match for Miro [Klose]. It will be an exciting duel. We saw their matches in the group stage and made a first impression.
Lazio’s performances against Dortmund was key in the team’s qualification into the Champions League knockout stage.
