Lazio forward Ciro Immobile has certainly emerged as one of the top goal-scoring forwards in Europe this year. The Italian forward won the Golden Boot for the 2019/2020 season and has continued his top form this season with seven Serie A goals.
Immobile’s stout goal-scoring production has not gone unnoticed. Only Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo (31) and Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski (28) have scored more goals within Europe’s top five leagues than Immobile in the calendar year.

The above tweet shows that Immobile has scored 25 league goals for Lazio this year. However, the Italian forward did add another league goal during the team’s fixture against Benevento, which brings his total up by one to 26.
Immobile has a realistic chance at finishing 2020 with 30 league goals as the team still has two games reaming this year, including a key upcoming home fixture against current top-four side Napoli. This would be an impressive feat for the Lazio star.
