Lazio is currently among one of the most disappointing teams in Serie A after Matchday 12.
Simone Inzaghi’s side currently sits in eighth-place in the Serie A table this season. For a team that was a serious contender in the league last year, this is far from what many expected to see of the Biancocelesti this season.
Lazio has recorded just 18 points through 12 fixtures this season (from a possible 36 points), which is its lowest total through this portion of the campaign in five seasons.
18 – #Lazio have won 18 points after the first 12 games in #SerieA, their fewest tally at this stage since 2015-16, when they finished at 8th position. Slow.#BeneventoLazio

For Lazio, the good news for the side is that it still has a realistic chance at finishing in the top four this season. Lazio currently stands at five points behind current fourth-place side Juventus. However, Juventus could increase its current lead with a key win over Atalanta in Matchday 12.
Nonetheless, Lazio still has an outside shot at making a serious top-four run, but the club will need to quickly turn it around with a string of wins.
