Lazio have earnt only 34 points in Serie A since the restart after the Covid-19 stop, the 8th best in Italy, according to a report from Italian stats provider Lazio Page on Twitter earlier today.
The report details how the Biancocelesti, since the restart of football earlier this year in the summer, have earnt 34 points, 18 of which are from this current campaign.
Before the lockdown, Lazio looked set to challenge Juventus for the league title. They were only one point behind the Bianconeri and seemed to be carrying strong momentum, but the lockdown stop changed things.
Lazio’s form since the restart has been sluggish and the team haven’t recaptured the same spirit as seen in the first half of last season.
The Roman club currently sit 9th in Serie A after 12 games, with only 18 points.
