Lazio is currently showing an early interest in Sogndal IL midfielder Sivert Mannsverk, according to a report from Eurosport Norway (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).
The report notes that Lazio has essentially been scouting Mannsverk as of late. But the Italian side is not the only club showing an interest in this promising Norwegian talent.
Ajax and Bologna are also being linked with the midfielder. For the moment, there have been no reports linking any of these three clubs to a possible serious permanent transfer pursuit of Mannsverk.
For the 18-year-old prospect, he is coming off of a season in which he recorded eight total goal contributions in OBOS-ligaen, which is the second tier level of club football in Norway.
The Eurosport report noted comments made by Mannsverk, in which he acknowledged the recent links but did not want to discuss anything further for the moment.
Mannsverk remains one of the top prospects in OBOS-ligaen.
