Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto will make his 150th appearance for the Biancocelesti in the upcoming Serie A clash against Napoli, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the 28-year-old Spaniard, who joined the club from Liverpool in the summer of 2016, has made 149 appearances in the last four seasons, where he has scored 27 goals and provided 45 assists.
In that time, Luis Alberto has won two Supercoppa Italiana and one Coppa Italia. After a difficult start, he became one of the core pillars of coach Simone Inzaghi’s team.
Whilst the fans still love him, the club can get frustrated with his behaviour sometimes, as seen earlier this campaign when he publicly ranted about the team’s purchase of a Boeing 737.
Luis Alberto’s performances this campaign have not been as stellar as seasons prior, with both the fans and Inzaghi hoping the 28-year-old Spaniard will be at his best in the league clash against the Partenopei on Sunday evening.
