One concern that many supporters have over the Biancocelesti is their sudden bad defending, which they’ll need to fix if they want to take three points from the Partenopei. Through 12 fixtures, they’ve conceded 20 goals while averaging 1.67 goals against per Footy Stats.
During his talk with the media, Inzaghi discussed that the blame doesn’t all fall on their defenders as the main reason for this spike in goals conceded this season.
We are suffering more than last year, the men are almost the same, it’s not just a question of defenders, but of the team. We all have to do a defensive phase in the best way, like last year when we were second in Serie A on defense.
