Lazio may look to sign Hellas Verona winger Darko Lazovic in the upcoming January transfer window, if captain Senad Lulic still hasn’t recovered, according to a report from Italian newspaper il Tempo earlier today, as reported by LazioNews24.

The report details how the Biancocelesti are looking for a new left wing-back in the upcoming January transfer window, as coach Simone Inzaghi needs more options in the department and captain Lulic has still not returned, missing almost a year due to ankle injuries.

As such, sporting director Igli Tare has been considering options, with one of his favourites being the 30-year-old Lazovic.

The Serbian winger, who is contracted to Hellas Verona until 2022, has made 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 714 minutes.

In that time, he has scored one goal and provided one assist, being a regular feature in coach Ivan Juric’s side.

He has helped Hellas Verona reach 9th in the table after 13 games.
