Luis Alberto’s performance against Napoli will be one that he will not be forgetting anytime soon.

The Spanish talent scored a thunderous goal in the second half that essentially clinched the win for his side. More so, he went on to have a grand impact as a playmaker with four goal-scoring chances created. But from the moment that the game began, Alberto made history by playing in his 150th career game with the club.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Alberto reflected on the achievement in his impressive Lazio career.

My first game vs my game number 150 with the Lazio jersey! It’s already been four years since my debut with Lazio!

Every now and then I like to look back to remember how I got here and where I am now. These four years have served me to grow as a player, to learn to be patient and above all to value every moment with this shirt as it deserves.

Over his four seasons with Lazio, he has scored 28 goals in all competitions. More importantly, he has gone on to help the side win three trophies, including the memorable 2018/2019 Coppa Italia. And the Spanish playmaker has also etched his name in Lazio history by helping lead the side to a UEFA Champions League knockout stage appearance for just the second time in the club’s history.
